Jim Becker Named Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Weiman/Preview

Weiman Furniture Company, the Christiansburg, VA manufacturer of Weiman/Preview contemporary upholstery, announces the appointment of James Becker as Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Weiman, Becker served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at John-Richard, a high end accessory manufacturer for over 15 years.

Carl Philips, President of Weiman Furniture and its parent company, Interlude Home, enthusiastically welcomed Becker by stating “Jim is an experienced marketer and leader who will help propel Weiman to the next level as a quality producer of stylish contemporary furniture. As we expand our product line into occasional furniture, accessories and area rugs, Jim will help our team design, merchandise, market and sell these exciting products. In our new showroom on the 10 th Floor of IHFC’s Design Wing, we will show many of these fresh line extensions for the first time this October. Jim will assist us in bringing the right buyers to Market, as we regenerate one of America’s greatest upholstery brands.”

Becker brings broad home furnishings experience to Weiman Furniture, based on his extensive retail merchandising and buying background at such department stores as Ivey’s and Filene’s, as well as his tenure at The Bradburn Gallery in Atlanta, where he was a founding partner.
